Kris R. |
Long Distance Triathlete
“For years I didn’t fully understand the importance of nutrition and hydration in training. Now that I am getting it dialed in for my personal needs, I am amazed at the difference it makes.”
Welcome to Fuel Your Finish Lines
Most athletes don’t need more information. They need a plan they’ve already tested.
The internet has handed you an enormous pile of sports nutrition content. What it can’t do is look at where you are in your training block, ask what happened on Saturday’s long session, and tell you what to change on Wednesday.
Your training is dialed.
Your fueling is a coin flip.
- You’ve done the hard part. The 5am swim, the long run in the rain, the plan followed to the letter. Then race day arrives and your stomach has other ideas.
- You bonk on the long ones even though you thought you ate enough.
- You’ve tested three gels and two drink mixes and still don’t know what’s yours.
- Your gut turns on you somewhere between the bike and the run.
- You’re chronically tired and can’t tell if it’s training or eating.
- Every account you follow says something different about carbs.

Jon N. | Ultramarathoner
“THANK YOU for all your help! This was the first time I can remember where I didn’t feel completely exhausted after my A race! You taught me so much about sports nutrition. I feel confident planning my race nutrition whether I’m doing a 50K or a 100 Miler. In the past, the last half of my races were miserable and I knew it was because I wasn’t fueling properly. Practicing my nutrition during training was a game changer in helping me figure out what worked for me.”
Does this sound like you?
- You have no idea how to eat on a daily basis to support your training load. You’re just winging it and hoping for the best
- You’ve tried different fueling strategies but can’t figure out what actually works for YOU
- You understand you need to fuel during long workouts but you’re clueless about WHAT to eat, HOW MUCH, and WHEN
- You bonk during long training sessions or races despite thinking you fueled enough
- You’re afraid you’re underfueling but don’t know how much you actually need to support training and racing
- You nail your training but your race day nutrition falls apart when it matters most
- You experience recurring GI distress that ruins your training and race day performance
- You’re chronically fatigued and not bouncing back between training sessions
- You’re confused by conflicting nutrition advice from social media, friends, and Dr. Google…..carbs are good? Carbs are bad? Keto? Fasted training?
What you’ll master in the program
Ten things you’ll be able to do that you can’t do now.
Not ten topics. Ten finished results, each one a win you can point to — and each one makes the next race less of a gamble.
You know your carb number
A per-hour target for every session length you actually do — 60 minutes, three hours, all day — written down and tested.
You know your sweat rate
Your own fluid and sodium losses, measured in your own conditions, so hydration stops being a guess in July.
Your gut can take race pace
A progressive gut-training block that gets you to your carb target without the mid-race stop.
You have a race plan on paper
Hour by hour, alarm to finish chute, with a plan B for heat, a late start, and an aid station that’s out of what you needed.
You eat a normal week without thinking
A meal framework that flexes with training load, survives a workday, and never asks you to track a macro.
You can train again tomorrow
A recovery routine you’ll actually do in the twenty minutes after a session, built for back-to-back days.
You can spot underfueling early
The signs of low energy availability in your own data, and the correction to make before it costs you a season.
You stopped wasting money on supplements
A short list of what’s worth buying for your distance, what’s third-party tested, and what to leave on the shelf.
You travel to a race and eat like you’re home
A packing list, a restaurant strategy, and a race-week timeline that holds up in an unfamiliar city.
You can rebuild the plan yourself
When the distance changes, the weather turns, or your body does something new — you adjust instead of starting over.
Danika V. | Ultramarathoner
“I’ve never felt this good in a race! I finally placed 9th overall in a marathon (1st ever Top 10 finish)! Before working with Cassandra, I was feeling really fatigued after just 30 miles/week of training. After learning how to fuel strategically, I am consistently training over 50 miles/week and feeling much stronger.”
The Catalyst Nutrition & Performance Difference
What makes this different from every other sports nutrition course for athletes isn’t just the content, it’s who built it. I’m not just a dietitian who works with athletes. I am a triathlete and runner myself.
Most sports nutrition programs are made by dietitians who advise athletes. This one was built by an RD who is also a USAT-certified triathlon coach and has crossed 80+ finish lines herself. The science and the sweat are the same person.
You’re getting the exact frameworks and principles I use with my 1:1 clients who have achieved podium finishes, massive PRs, and breakthrough performances. All packaged into a comprehensive program you can complete on your schedule.
Where you start / Set by your race date
There’s no wrong week to walk in.
Nothing here unlocks on a schedule. Your race date and distance decide which block you’re in, and that’s where you begin. Twenty weeks out from a 70.3, you start in base. Three weeks out from a marathon, you skip straight to race week and come back for base afterward.
Block 00
Offseason
No race on the calendar. Body composition handled safely, strength season fueling, and the debrief that sets up next year.
Block 01
Base
Get your everyday performance plate right so training has something to work with. Build the nutrition framework that matches your load.
Block 02
Build
Fuel the long training sessions. Learn your per-hour carb number, your fluid and sodium targets. Focus on gut training to prepare for racing.
Block 03
Peak
The biggest sessions of your season. Rehearse race fueling at race pace and fix what breaks while it’s still cheap.
Block 04
Race week
Race Week carb loading and hydration strategy based on race distance, travel nutrition, and a written fueling plan with a backup in case things go sideways.
| Your race | Base | Build | Peak | Race week |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Half marathon | 9–12 wks out | 5–8 wks out | 3–4 wks out | 2 wks out |
| Marathon | 13–16 wks out | 8–12 wks out | 4–7 wks out | 3 wks out |
| Triathlon 70.3 | 13–20 wks out | 7–12 wks out | 3–6 wks out | 2 wks out |
| Triathlon 140.6 | 17–24 wks out | 9–16 wks out | 4–8 wks out | 3 wks out |
| Ultra 50K–100mi | 17–24 wks out | 9–16 wks out | 4–8 wks out | 3 wks out |
Stop Leaving Performance on the Table
Every training session without proper fueling is a missed opportunity. Every race without a tested nutrition plan is a gamble with months of hard work.

FAQs
You’ll start in race week, get your plan on paper, and race with it. Then you come back through base and build afterward, which is where the lasting changes happen anyway.
Then you’re in the offseason block, which is the most underrated one. Body composition handled safely, strength season fueling, and a debrief of last season so you can learn from it and keep moving forward.
Around 1-2 hours if you’re actively working a block, much less if you’re here for the calls and the questions. It’s built to fit around a training schedule, not compete with one. You can listen to the videos anytime, even while you’re doing other things.
No problem! All calls are recorded and available in the program portal. You can submit questions in advance and watch the replay for the answers on your own schedule.
Does the program cover race day nutrition?
Yes! One of the modules in this program is dedicated to Race Week & Race Day nutrition. That module will help you build your race week strategy.
While we’ll teach you how to calculate your needs, this program focuses on practical, sustainable strategies that work in real life. You’ll learn intuitive fueling principles alongside structured protocols. The goal is to put the tools in your toolbox to understand how to easily structure meals and snacks for optimal nutrition. No Tracking Required.
The program includes guidance for various dietary preferences and restrictions including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free athletes. You’ll learn how to meet your performance needs regardless of your dietary approach. If you need more individualized attention, 1:1 nutrition counseling sessions are recommended and can be added on at any time.
This is a comprehensive nutrition program designed for athletes. Whether you’re targeting your first triathlon or running event OR your 20th, you’ll find value in the evidence-based strategies taught throughout the program.
The program provides structured education and group support at a more accessible price point. While 1:1 coaching offers completely personalized plans, this program gives you the foundational knowledge and tools to create your own optimized nutrition strategy. You can always add 1:1 sessions as an enhancement.
